Making Mad Love To Your Wicked, Sexy Self: 4 Juicy Steps.

Life is a crazy, unscrupulous path.

Often times it is void of color, lacking magic and riddled with loneliness (despite the people who surround you).

It is my belief that life is always pushing us to make something of ourselves. Not in the sense of: What will I be when I grow up? Which I’m sure many of us, no longer children—still find ourselves asking. But more in the sense of: What can I contribute? How can I make your life better with my existence?

I don’t think I’m too off-target in saying that giving is inherent in our deepest, most unscathed natures. Which is why it feels so good to do so. In giving, it seems to put us abreast of what is divine.

Giving however, must begin with YOU.

As in lovemaking, how can you give pleasure if you do not know how to receive it?

These following morsels will hopefully yield sustainable and satisfying trysts with giving love to yourself. Otherwise life is as good as an unsatisfying quickie with no climax or worse, a jarring climax that just leaves you feeling empty and even more alone than ever.

To begin, we must:

1. Set the mood.

Be thankful. One priceless lesson I have learned is that no matter what, there is always something to be thankful for. Being thankful should be the default setting of your normal day-to-day operating life. It is the platform upon which to build everything.

Be healthy. Consume foods that are colorful, sexy, whole and nurturing to your body. Make your body sing. Don’t get me wrong, chocolate and strawberries work well too but lack the power to sustain.

A healthy body makes a healthy mind, makes a healthy spirit. It’s all interconnected.

Be active. How does your body love to move? Move it like that. Move it like that regularly. Make your blood surge. When your blood surges, things just feel good. Endorphins flow and your body screams: FUCK YES!  We are physical creatures. So the mood must begin on a physical level.

2. Foreplay.

Be forgiving. Whatever your weaknesses or pains, forgive the source. Forgive yourself. You are doing the best you can. It’s okay to have issues. It’s okay to have a dark side. It’s okay to just be what you are. You were made that way for a purpose despite the way it may feel sometimes.

Be vulnerable. When the caterpillar disappears into its chrysalis, it is the most vulnerable it will ever be. But it is a necessary step the caterpillar must take in order to sprout wings.

It’s terrifying to be vulnerable, but in doing so we reap immense and lasting gifts like: empathy and compassion.

Which segues into the next morsel of being.

Be open. Being open lets light in. Shedding light on the darker, cobwebbed corners of your being allows you to see what resides there. What needs to be gotten rid of and also has the potential to reveal some valuable item that you never knew you always had.

3. Climax.

Be risky. Remember our friend, the caterpillar? How will you change anything unfavorable without risk and a sometimes-sense of not knowing? And I’m not talking about careless risk but a sort of risk that demands transformation of self, a step out of the comfortable.

Be fearless. Don’t get me wrong; fear is necessary and good to certain degrees. But making conscious choices in spite of your fear is sheer power—yielding impenetrable strength.

Be decadent. Allow yourself luxury. Not necessarily monetary in value but of spiritual value. What lifts your soul up? What makes your feel a lightness of being? What is just so damn beautiful it feels like a sin to partake of? Do that!

You are royalty in your own right and deserve the bounty of nobility.

4. Pillow talk.

Be humble. In all this worship and adoration of yourself you must never forget this very important morsel of being.

Humility makes your soul more radiant than the sun. It makes you the kind of King or Queen that is beloved by the kingdom you reign over, because you know what it means to have nothing. You know what it means to struggle. You know what it means to be in pain.

And in coming out of these states of being you appreciate the beauty so much more intensely and can love all the more vigorously.

Be steadfast. In your convictions, in your purpose, in your mission and in your love—be firm and unwavering. Praise all who have gifted you your darkness and lightness. Love all who have shown you your humanity and in doing so you find your divinity.

Your eternal connection to the ecstasy of source, accessible at all times in a constant, perpetual state of bliss, despite your emotional forecast or your day to day challenges.

Be restful. Need I add explanation to this?

By actively participating in all these morsels, you will be in a constant state of sensuality and expression within your own being. You will be living in an active state of creation and relation — not only with yourself but with all those around you.

And in the seasons of darkness that tend to happen in all our lives, you will have light to sustain you within yourself and you will never lack for anything.

By partaking of these morsels you have succeeded in the ultimate seduction. You are now ready to give it to the world the right way.

And give it good.

Now, go out and give mad love you wicked, sexy thing, you.

It is her belief that inside each of us is our own sacred, Wild nature -- a hidden instinct that is not forgotten as much as it is dormant, like leafless trees in winter. It is the part of us that is connected to all things. A knowing without knowing. The part deep inside that understands darkness is necessary for the moon to simmer silver, and recognizes that even if you’re lost in the middle of nowhere you can always find a sacred somewhere -- like an internal compass pointing true north to your heart center.
