New Moon in Scorpio: Sink Your Teeth into Soul-Deep Relationships, not Fleeting Ones.

The Scorpio New Moon occurs at 1:38 pm ET on October 30 at 7 degrees Scorpio.

Scorpio brings the energy of the Phoenix to this New Moon, and with this potent ally, we can burn away the fragments that remain of the life and patterns we wish to leave behind and be reborn from the ashes.

This powerful New Moon is here to peel away the layers, pull up the loose threads, and burn away the old once and for all, while giving us space to embrace and create new beginnings we’ve been in the process of starting.

The veils thin in October, plugging us deep into the unknown and the unseen. We feel an invisible force tugging at our skin and stirring the blood in our veins; is this our destiny calling? Is this our own inner longing for something more, something deeper to plunge our hearts into? We are ready to go deeper, this New Moon tells us. We are ready to dive into our destiny.

This Moon is about letting go of the baggage in the basement and all that we have been carrying with us that we don’t need. Remember to pack light for the road ahead, and take only that which feeds your soul with you. Everything else has no place in your carry-on, and will take up valuable space you need for what is waiting to come into your life.

This New Moon in Scorpio is bringing the energy of great change into the landscape of our lives. These are deep shifts, not just on the surface but at foundation level. Scorpio is calling to us to look at the illusions that we have been carrying around and wearing like truth, peel them away, toss them in the fires, and release them for good.

Scorpio is all about soul-level truth, and is not pulling any punches this New Moon. It asks us who we truly want to be and what life we want to live. Let go of the old layers; let go of the veil and step into authenticity. It can be hard as we burn away the past, but Scorpio is a powerful ally when it comes to rebirth, and has your back on this.

Walk through the fires; destiny waits for you on the other side.

Even though we are going to be plunged headfirst into what is truth vs. what is fiction in our lives, Scorpio wants you to keep your eyes open for what is going to be beginning in the aftermath of the powerful Aries Full Moon which occurred on the 15/16 of October. There is much on the horizon that is going to be coming into focus.

This New Moon is reminding us that we have the power to create the world that we wish to live, but first we need to choose the pieces. Only we can do that. Only we can decide.

Mercury is trine Neptune during this New Moon, immersing us deep into communication about the mystical aspects of life and what occurs in the unseen. Here we are putting into words what we are feeling at soul level, what is calling to us and what is moving deep within our spirit during this time of transformation.

This aspect highlights intuition, so with the thinning of the veil, tap into your inner wisdom and don’t shut out the whispers you hear rising; they have valuable guidance for you.

Venus is conjunct Saturn, which brings into focus our feelings on illuminating where we are wanting to dive deeper in our relationships and look to lasting commitment. We are looking into what lasts a lifetime, not what is fleeting, wanting to sink our teeth into soul-deep relationships of an eternal nature, which is mirrored in Scorpio’s deep connection to soul mate energy.

If you find there are words that you need to speak from your heart, speak them. Scorpio is calling into action our voices, and wanting us to dig up the hidden bits that need to be said, especially when it comes to our love lives. What aren’t we saying? What words have we been swallowing? What needs to be said in truth once and for all?

This time is both powerful and painful as we pull the last threads of the old away, but know that it will be rewarding beyond measure.

For those in the Eastern hemisphere, the Black Moon is occurring for you during this New Moon on the 30/31 as it is the second New Moon in a calendar month. This energy intensifies the fires of rebirth, transformation and second chances that Scorpio brings into being, merging it with the powerful energy of the Black Moon, making this a perfect time to wipe the slate clean, clear away the old and start anew.

Set your intentions during this New Moon in regards to what resonates with you on your deepest soul level; what are you wanting to bring into your world in terms of soul-deep love, life and purpose? This New Moon, we come very close to the energy of Samhain/Beltane and the thinning of the veils. The intentions you make now are seeded directly into a very powerful and magical Universal soil.

Be conscious of what you are wishing for and what you are wanting, and make sure you focus on what you desire.

Ask, and you shall receive.
