Rebelle Society is a unique, revolutionary online magazine publishing daily acts of Creative Rebellion and celebrating the Art of Being Alive through words and mixed media. 

It is a virtual country that gives a home and a voice to the creatively maladjusted rebels with a cause, the nonconformists, dreamers, the expressive troublemakers trying to rise above their circumstances and lead an extraordinary life by creating their lives and inspiring the world with their passion.

Rebelle Society’s Mission is to practice creative self-expression in all its various forms – from essay/article style, to poetry, fiction, photography, spoken word and mixed media — as a way to heal, inspire and transform. To use communication as a means to add value to a generation saturated by materialism and disappointed by the systems that enslave and repress the creative spirit. To edify an audience thirsty for depth and meaning, without sacrificing the style and visual elements that make beauty necessary and art appealing to the senses. 

Rebelle Society’s Vision is to offer multiple authors and voices online a platform that echoes and celebrates their creative voices, as well as a safe and inviting space to share their proactive lessons, message and observations about life, with the purpose of growing and expanding beyond the limits of the possible, in the best creative company.  

In its brief 3 years of life, Rebelle Sociey has grown organically and without any outside funding, to reach now almost 250,000 followers and subscribers on its combined platforms. 

The Scratchy Side of the Matchbox

We don’t believe in a stagnant or any given reality. The events, encounters, actions, discoveries, learning, adventures, relationships and feelings that we experience on a daily basis, can only exist through the meaning we give them. We are the ultimate creators of our reality.

We give our life its color and its voice, we shout our songs over the rooftops of the world. We say what goes and what stays, we only get one shot at life and we would like to make it count.

Just like us, reality is dynamic, it can’t be measured and it is related to everything and everyone in intricate ways, beyond our wildest imagination.

It includes you, me and everyone we’ve ever known. It extends to our ecosystem and all other sentient beings, plants and natural phenomena, starting in our own hearts and reaching to the most distant galaxies, echoing the past and dancing with future.

The only way to live fully is by integrating, accepting and finally using every bit of us. In our sad joy and beautiful universe, nothing and no one is wasted. Everything is recycled, even the ugliness.

As sensitive, intelligent creatures, it is our duty and delight to embrace ourselves fully, to gather all our courage and paint our lives with our own homemade, human and imperfect brush on the universal canvas.

We’re rebels with a cause: that of bringing our bits and pieces together into a more inclusive, life-giving collage.

Creativity is our pencil. Rebellion is the ink. We are innate designers of reality. Creatively rebelling against a divided, mindless & unquestionable status quo is our first step into wholeness.
