I’m Not Sorry. {poetry}
I am not going to apologize
anymore
about touching your soul.
We are always so careful
To respect each other’s space
That we forget…
Life is messy and my soul is here
To revel in the chaos,
In the minute details of us,
All of us.
I was lied to.
Told that we have only one soul mate
To wrap ourselves around.
But our souls are meant
to co-mingle, to swirl
iridescently together.
And each time I apologize
for baring my soul to you,
my own light dims.
Because our power is in the mix
and it is messy and profound,
and it is all about letting it happen.
So I am not sorry
that I am unleashing
my intense soul to the world…
