Unconquered.
The hypermasculine mind
asks me to prove how badly I need him.
But I know he needs me,
the goddess that he views objectively,
to demonstrate his depths
that lie within his want
and capacity to conquer.
Superficial.
I play the game because
this is how I get paid.
but he knows that I am laughing
on the other side of the line.
Threatening the power dynamics.
And Barriers.
He will never invade a temple
he does not know of.
Delusions interrupt my daydreams
of a man who knows the feminine
to be sacred and beautiful.
He holds to the delusions he needs.
I hold on to the men who know the truth.
I don’t let go.
The game can only be played
when you are in control.
Power-hungry men hold an illusion
of tainted masculinity.
I pray to the earth for the third night.
The rules are simple.
Keep it physical,
hide your spirit,
and the temple will be safe.
It’s easy to play with little boys.
I repeat the phrases they want
to hear over and over,
a broken record,
a hymn for freedom.
When the hypermasculine mind is threatened,
the endangered species
will try to fight back for survival.
I want to stand.
I need to stand.
I stand.
I feel the earth’s embrace,
the water beneath me.
The explosion of thunder collapses.
I extend my arms up to embrace the release.
Water heals the feminine wounds.
I lay my womb to the ground
and pray to the earth for the fourth night.
Someone save the hyper masculine men.
Someone teach the future generations
about love and compassion.
Someone help them understand
that you must respect women
to respect the earth.
Someone remove the delusions
from the hyper masculine mind.
A prayer that goddess receives,
it is kept sacred.
We all believe what we need to.
We all believe what we want to.
Women don’t want partners as oppressors.
Women don’t need partners as oppressors.
When the earth is saved,
I will be her,
unconquered.
