Walking Amongst The Wounded Soldiers Of Love.
Often the ability to empathize receives negative connotations. It is the unhealed aspects of self that are bleeding through, our own demons triggered by the suffering of another.
I am grateful for all the wounded soldiers of love, the ones who have had their spirits decimated by the pain of this life. We are on the battleground, constantly refusing to let go of the good fight; continuing to open our hearts against all odds.
Dear one, your tears are a beautiful reminder of where you have left your heart open when the rest of the world has closed theirs. The truth of your pain is a beacon of what many are not willing to feel — a raw honesty that is sadly missed by most.
Your emotions are not a weakness. There is no need to analyze them out of existence. Emotions are your point of power, the ways in which you allow yourself to feel when others refuse the risk. They are the measure of your courage to live deep, to feel every heartbreaking moment, knowing it is necessary for your inevitable joy.
Ultimately this life can only be felt through the heart. No amount of analyzing or intellectualizing can make up for a lack of heart and soul. When you close your heart, life stops. You restrict the flow of movement and begin to stagnate. It is precisely your pain and vulnerability that has the ability to crack you open, to bring your soul back to life.
If only we were as afraid of developing a stone-cold heart as we are of living fully. I do not want to leave this life never having lived. I want to create an existence whereby my essence is at the forefront, allowing my heart to lead the way. Regardless of how weak and crazy I may appear to others, I will not shut down the truth of who I am.
Fellow soldiers, I ask you to strip yourself bare. To lay your armor on the ground, so that your soul can finally shine through. I can see it glistening, even if you are not yet able. I will hold your heart in mine until you are able to reconcile a new type of strength, whereby the act of a heart wide open is a measure of bravery.
Allow love to be your message in a world that has become blind.
There is no need to carry shame for your sensitivity. The depth of your emotion is a testament of your character and courage. In a world that has attempted to break you, you have carried your wounded heart through the pain, limping all the while.
We are the soldiers of love, attempting to break through a new paradigm whereby love is finally acknowledged as the point of existence. Where vulnerability and acceptance act as tools of love, constantly molding us into a truer picture.
It is your soul that must guide you, and it wants it all. It wants to feel your anger, joy, love, hatred and everything in between.
You are not here to think, you are here to feel. Your heart and soul splinter so that they may crack open and allow the light to shine through. It is the contrast of your beautiful soul against the backdrop of darkness which makes this journey worth the while.
Even if others are unable to hold your emotional depth, you must become your own knight in shining armor, constantly rescuing yourself from the ignorance of others.
This journey requires nothing less than sheer courage, and this is a shout-out to all the wounded soldiers who wear their pain with hearts wide open. Who have made the courageous decision to remain vulnerable despite the agony.
This world thanks you for your bravery.
