All embracing, ever chasing, and forever reaching out in love for you…
Yes, I know.
This poetic dreamer, this ambitious lover, shares more verses… than you.
And perhaps you wonder, if maybe… just maybe, I want this too?
But I’ll tell you now…
When your eyes meet mine, they reveal more than your gentle voice could ever say.
Humming a familiar refrain that flows through my very being each night and day.
With a kindness and depth that keeps doubt at bay.
Your touch lingers heavy and holds my heart… with an essence, a warmth, that knows no end or start.
Leaving me with love, love, and love.
And this is no ordinary thing, no Sunday kind of love exchange…
Darling, we are the stormy Tuesday night embrace… electric, absorbing, and soothing still.
The answer before the question.
The slowing of pace to walk together.
The silent tenderness that reaches out to hold a hand before it starts shaking.
The smile that starts at the fleeting thought of you and grows exponentially in the moments between heartbeats… until the happiness is racing.
