I know how I have cried, and cursed this body. I know how, when I got my period for the first time, I shut myself in a room and cried, saying "I hate this!"
Let’s be ashamed of ourselves and talk about our shameful behavior, so that we can make collective decisions based on a desire for connection and belonging.
We all have things about ourselves that we don’t particularly like. But if we can look at those parts of us and understand why they’re there, we can see why we’re triggered in certain situations, and start to free ourselves from the unconscious patterns that we otherwise play out over and over again.
