I sat at the bottom of a colossal tree with my hands sensing its fondness. I let myself be attached to its coolness and warmth, feeling like a child in my mother's lap. I breathed deeply, filling my lungs, savoring this union and the sensations of a full soul.
You don't need to change jealousy, and I wouldn't suggest trying. That will only make her defensive. She craves, though she might not always see it, to go deeper inside her own darkness. Every jealous thought is an invitation to explore more of herself, and to ultimately love more of herself.
What would we use as currency in a society without money? What would we value? What would we work for, and how would we meet our needs? Even more curious, in a post-capitalistic society, how would we measure wealth, if money were no longer a driving factor?
I, for one, am happy to start living my life unapologetic. I’m unapologetic for being sometimes rambunctious, often with messy hair, a klutz who manages to spill things or trips everywhere she goes, who is also smart and a bit funny, strong and muscular and… who really cares?
