Recently, at a time when I was processing feelings of grief, I found my way outside early in the morning... I felt blinded by my pain.

Whatever is said anonymously can never fully feel true, because what is the point of a truth when it cannot be linked to reality?

In this world, there is my golden city and there is its womb being torn open and bursting... There is screaming. In it is a cold August.

The kindest people I have encountered have suffered adversity and emerged with a better appreciation of what it means to be human.

I'm motivated to be an example of what is possible for others whose intuition has been silenced, who are disillusioned and overwhelmed.

The journey to take in this lifetime is to hold our inner selves near. It’s a paradoxical quandary, because we must go in to get out.

When we are embodied and assume the witness mind, all of a sudden our worlds expand. They blossom with new possibilities.

These are the stories I do my best to write. What this poem means to me is not what it will mean to you, and that makes it powerful.
