We are simply seeking connection, and that is why spirituality has to be personal, handcrafted and revisited when some aspects feel outgrown or irrelevant.
Is the claiming of modern identities killing our true identities? Are people confused by the lure of these images that place them in a favorable light?
Spirituality, to me, is different from being religious, as I see it as my direct relationship with a supreme being -- the source of all life. I understand the inherent worth of all religions and accept many of their wonderful teachings, but I’m not tied down to any of their dogma.
